Sunday
Obviously, I had nothing planned so I went out with my friend's parents. :) My friend's mother wanted to bring me to ShenZhen but she didnt confirm with me on Saturday night so I didnt bring out my passport on Sunday.
So we went to visit her sisters at Sheung Shui.
Yups, that salon is owned by her sisters. I got bored while waiting inside so I went out to walk around. I called Ah Sum when I was at Watsons. I bet she was damn happy to hear from me la. So while I was happily chatting, they were frantically calling me. HAAHAHA. No I was not lost. HK is small, it aint difficult to find me. *winks*
We spent tea time at a very authentic HK diner. I can honestly tell you that it is not easy to find one that looks like this anymore. Most of them are very modern-looking now.
Later we went to Fenling which is one KCR stop away to view her investment. Oh my gosh, that was like the first time I stepped into a typical HK house. It's freaking SMALL. I think it is about 400 square feet. Damn. I miss my room and my house. After viewing the apartment, we went back to the agency and that moronic agent decided to bring them to view other houses.
Argh for christ sake, no more small small small houses for me, so I shopped around for about 2 hours! Before they left, they reminded me not to talk on the phone, if not they cant contact me. :(
Shopped around. Revisited the small shopping malls like twice or was it thrice. Sigh. Nothing was to my liking. Then I decided to go buy a Sony Ericsson earphones. HEEHEE. Best thing that happened to me on that day. The shop which I bought from was owned by this SUPER DUPER friendly aunty who started chatting with me upon hearing my very not local cantonese. We conversed for about half hour then she thought I was thirsty so she went to 7-11 to buy me a packet drink. She asked for my contact so that she could look for me when she goes to Singapore. She intends to open a handphone shop in Toa Payoh. If she does then next time I got lobang to buy handphones. LOL
After 2 hours, friend's parents came back to find me. I had dinner with her mother's family since she is a Hong Kong citizen, so her return to Hong Kong calls for a family gathering. Dined at this typical wedding dinner like Chinese restaurant. You know la expensive food but the taste is so-so. Plus I really dont like Chinese food much. But no complaints since I dont have to pay. HEEHEE
